What We're Up To- week 1

What has been going on with Summer Lea Living this week?

1. FRIENDSGIVING. Our lovely friends came over for a great Sunday Funday. The theme was Canadian Tuxedo because why not? We all love our friends to the north. To keep the party at an appropriate stress level we did get a HyVee turkey and sides. I made the Parker House Rolls from Half Baked Harvest and her Pumpkin Punch. Both were amazing. I have never gotten so many compliments on rolls- highly recommend!

2. GETTING PHYSICAL. I fell off the workout wagon a few weeks ago, but I ran into my favorite class coach at Lulu Lemon and decided to face my demons. Yes, my mom was also there to purchase the leggings for Santa because he is having supply chain issues. (Yes- I am rapidly approaching 30 and yes, Santa still delivers.)

3. SEPHORA SALE. All the women in my family work smarter, not harder and share a VIB account at Sephora so we can qualify for Rouge status. Rouge status does get you points and fun things, but most importantly 20% off essentially everything once a year. This year I got cologne for my husband for Christmas (YSL- the blue one), the Tarte five blush collection, Sol de Janeiro everything (this stuff is serious gold) and Bumble and Bumble powder dry shampoo.

4. RELAXING. With the holidays coming up and the house clean from Friendsgiving, this is a perfect week to take it easy (and let us not forget dreadful daylight savings). Bravo is a great relaxer and this household is invested. We're in deep on Southern Charm, RHOSLC, Winter House and Below Deck (honestly it is a lot to keep up with but thats why we record everything).
